Narrative Summary - March 1995

March 1996 was slightly warmer than normal, averaging 46.1ºF, 0.5º above
normal (45.6ºF). The warmest March averaged 51.5ºF (1992), while the coolest
averaged 39.4ºF (1955). The following daily temperature records were

Precipitation for March 1995 totaled 0.95 inches, 202% of normal (0.47 inches).
The wettest March, in 1957, received 1.86 inches, while the driest, in 1968, received

Total precipitation since January 1, 1995 is 3.78 inches, 201% of normal
(1.88 inches). This is the second highest total for the first three months of
the year, the highest being 3.89 inches in 1986. The driest January through
March period, in 1964, received only 0.41 inches.
