Narrative Summary - June 2003 ºF

The average temperature for June 2003 was warmer than normal, averaging 72.5ºF, 3.2º above normal (69.3ºF).
The warmest June occurred in 1992 and averaged 76.8ºF, while the coolest, in 1953, averaged 63.0ºF. There have
been 14 days with maximum temperatures >= 90ºF through June 30 (normal is 11), and one day above 100ºF
(normal through June is 2). The following temperature records were established in June:
