Narrative Summary - June 2000 ºF

The average temperature for June 2000 was nearly normal, averaging 69.9ºF, 0.2º above
normal (69.7ºF). The warmest June occurred in 1992 and averaged 76.8ºF, while the
coolest, in 1953, averaged 63.0ºF. There have been 9 days with maximum temperatures >=
90ºF, and 1 day >= 100ºF through the end of June (normal through June is 11 days and 2
days respectively. The following daily temperature records were established in June:
