Narrative Summary - July 1995
July 1995 was warmer than normal, averaging 77.1ºF, 0.9º above normal
(76.2ºF). The warmest July averaged 82.2ºF (1985), while the coolest
averaged 70.5ºF (1993). The following daily temperature records were

Precipitation for July 1996 totaled 0.34 in., 189% of normal (0.18 in.). The
wettest July, in 1993, received 1.76 in., while the driest, in 1980 and
earlier years, received only a trace.
Total precipitation since January 1, 1995 is 7.22 inches, 215% of normal
(3.36 inches). This has been the second wettest first seven months of the
year on record, with 1950 having received 7.46 inches during the January
through July period. The driest first seven months of the year occurred
in 1973, with only 1.44 inches of precipitation.
